René Magritte was a Belgian-born artist who was known for his work with surrealism as well as his witty and thought-provoking images and his use of simple graphics and everyday imagery. His most famous painting "The Lovers" depicts two figures, male and female whose face is covered with a cloth and are locked in an embrace. This painting can be viewed at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, USA.
